My name is Stefania Ferrara. Graphics have been my profession for more than ten years, that is since - just after graduating from art school in 1997 - I understood what I would have liked to do. A fortune for a few: because when you know it, and you do it, you're halfway through the work. The other half I had to learn and put into practice.
So, after the year of integration for university access, I thought of going straight to the practice by enrolling in a school of graphics. In my city I worked for various advertising agencies, then - at the age of 23 - I left Cagliari and I moved to Milan. I wanted to see what was beyond the sea. Outside I have experienced many experiences of different realities, studying and creating projects in teams for clients such as Fineco, Woolwich, Accenture, Virgilio, Yahoo, Borsa Italiana, Fiera Milano.
In 2007 I returned to Cagliari and opened Maklaste Graphic Design. Maklas is the union of three names: "Ma" that of my brother Massimo, "Kla" that of my twin sister Claudia and "S" my, Stefania. In a certain way, even if distant for practical reasons of work and life, we have always remained united by this word that has also brought us a little luck, since we all do what we like.
In my years of professional activity I have learned to find the most suitable solutions to the client, to involve him in the choices, to base myself on listening to the needs and to transform everything into concrete solutions. I think that the skill of the chart consists largely in listening ability, so I approach each project with an approach focused on the request. For the rest, my attention is focused on creative design and usability. During my years of work there have been travels, another of my great passion.
Realities similar and different from mine, known in Italy and abroad, have allowed me to deal with interesting people with whom I have dealt with and with whom I have been able to realize my best projects. I collected a vast and valuable list of real professionals, always available: where I do not arrive with my expertise, they arrive with their respective professionalism.
By joining forces we are always able to achieve the dual objective of making the customer happy and also ourselves, for this reason I am a firm believer in "building things together and in the right way". Today I continue to travel and I continue to work. After more than ten years, my fortune is always alive and there is a reason: I do what I like to do.
